DOADOA

Sound Trip World went to the DOADOA East African Art Market for the first time in 2018. There we made a show with local artists: the Kampala Symphony Orchestra, a girls choir of the BBC Ghetto Film Project and musicians we met at a jam session at the National Theatre.

In 2018, our team consisted of Carlo Balemans, Bas Duister (trumpet), Marinda Kusters (flute) and Orihana Calcines (video). In 2019, Carlo went alone, giving workshops to local musicians.
